  • Hey, I’m Jen—an explorer who believes that the best adventures are the ones shared with others.

    I’m passionate about the connections that bring us together. I try to keep myself grounded through travel, stay curious, and enjoy the process.

    I’m all about finding adventure in the everyday and love working with people who have purpose and make the best out of life.

    If you're looking for a buddy for your next travesura, I'm down; My motto is, "Si quieres ir, vamos, si no, todavia voy yo." 😜

  • I’m Carol Martinez, proud Latina, and hija of Guatemalan immigrants who settled in Los Ángeles in the early '80s. Growing up with four brothers and one sister, I was always entertained and that usually meant out en la calle.

    De temprana edad, there was a spark of passion for community, recreation, y educación. Having flown to more than 20+ countries, connecting & learning from natives, eating comida auténtica, and creating unforgettable memorias have been a priority in every aventura. As a Pilota for Adventure Amigas my passions for travel and community se juntan to create magia.

  • Hola, my name is Zafira!

    I am a mom of two girls and a Siberian husky. I love spending time with Mother Earth and teaching my girls how to care and respect her. With more than 10 years under my belt working in education and the mental health field, I understand the value of creating and sustaining community.

    I enjoy creating art, reading, cooking, and anything related to being outdoors. When I became pregnant with my second baby, I swore I wouldn’t give up on my interests just because I was having a baby. Too often we hear, “your life ends when you have a baby”—pero eso no es cierto!

    I vowed to take my baby with me on all my aventuras—to teach her and show her the beauty that is Pachamama. To commune with her the way our ancestors did. I vowed to pass down that sacred knowledge.

    While it can be hard navigating being a mami, it’s a rewarding opportunity to do things differently. Here’s to creating a beautiful community to keep raising amazing and powerful babies!

  • Hola Amigas! My name is Cristina. I was born and raised in Los Angeles but my parents are from Nicaragua and Honduras. I embody una pasión for education and an excitement for adventure.

    As a community college counselor, I guide students through the complexities of higher education, helping them navigate their paths to transferring to universities. Pero cuando the weekend arrives, I dive into my adventurous spirit. I love to travel to new destinations, hike scenic trails, and immerse myself in the beauty of nature.

    I have a deep appreciation for national parks, where I savor the tranquility and breathtaking landscapes. When I’m not on the trails or discovering nuevos lugares, I enjoy catching up on my favorite TV shows and indulging in a mix of géneros. As one of the Adventure Jefas, I’m excited to connect with new amigas, crafting new experiences and exploring together.

  • I’m an LA girl, born and raised, and a proud mom to my 15-year-old daughter, Samantha. We’ve been backpacking together since she was 8, making it one of our favorite ways to bond.

    I recently discovered a love for home remodeling, which has been a fun new challenge.

    My best friend is the heart of Adventure Amigas, and honestly, I’m part of the team because I’m always down to support her crazy ideas. As a baddie bff, I’m here to help systemize and create dope experiences for other women who love adventure too.

Patrona Chingona

  • ¿Qué onda amigas?! Mucho gusto. I’m Xana Hermosillo. I was born and raised in LA, and, from a young age, lil Xanita has been frolicking in the mountains and along the shorelines. I’m a marine scientist, educator, community activist, and aventurera.

    Being the Chingona Patrona allows me to bring all those passions together and keep Adventure Amigas organized and thriving.

    I’ve developed quite the bougie side, so most days you can find me in an airport lounge about to catch a business class flight and not feelings. This allows me to do my favorite outdoor activity, buceando, worldwide because I love to be one with the sea.

  • Quibole, pretty people?! I’m Ned, a first-gen Chicanade aquí y de allá, proud daughter of immigrants, and LA native (ye as, the Valley counts, lmao). Mis raíces son de Baja California; soy Cachanilla, a borderland baby. 🌵

    I envision a world where all mujeres live authentically, wild & free without fear or giving a $h!t que diga la gente. 💅🏽

    I believe that aventura, amor, y amistad are the pillars of joy we experience en esta vida loca, with amor encompassing love for self, one another, and our planet.

    The purpose of Adventure Amigas is to provide a sense of belonging so that you can exist as uniquely as you are in the adventure of life.
